Allison May is the CEO and Founder of Focused Medical Billing, a company she established in 2008 to help Ophthalmology practices optimize their revenue and operational performance. With a career in Ophthalmology spanning more than two decades, Allison brings deep, hands-on expertise to every partnership.

She began her career in Ophthalmology in 1998 as an Ophthalmic technician, gaining firsthand clinical experience before transitioning into the revenue cycle and billing side of the industry. Allison went on to serve as the Billing Manager for a large Manhattan Ophthalmology practice, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of practice management, revenue cycle operations, and financial optimization.

Recognized as an authority in the ophthalmology field, Allison specializes in revenue cycle management, denial prevention, and strategies to increase practice profitability. Her consultative approach blends deep industry knowledge with practical, results-driven solutions that directly impact the bottom line.
